Bhopal: Supplementary budget of Rs 9,347 cr presented in State Assembly

BHOPAL: Finance Minister Jayant Mallaiya on Wednesday presented a supplementary budget of Rs 9347 crore in the State Assembly. Debate on supplementary budget would be conducted in the House on Thursday. As far as allocation of money is concerned, Rs 1743 crore have been allocated to Panchayati Raj institutions, which is the highest allocation. Rs 952 crore have been allocated to agriculture department. Similarly, Rs 556 crore for energy and Rs 500 crore has been allocated to public works department (PWD).
