BHOPAL: Additional chief secretary Prabhanshu Kamal, who was removed from medical education department by CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, is sulking. He is yet to join the SC welfare department, where he was posted almost two months back.
Kamal had proceeded on leave immediately after he was given the new posting on February 2 this year. Chouhan had removed Kamal from medical education department on December 23, 2016 after he discovered glaring irregularities in Hamidia Hospital during a surprise inspection. Kamal was posted as OSD in Mantrayala and was given no work.
At the request of chief secretary Basant Pratap Singh, Chouhan had posted Kamal in SC welfare department in February. Sources said Kamal did not want to work in the department and that was why, he had not taken up his assignment and was on leave. All attempts to obtain his version failed.
