Bhopal: ‘Sufficient fire brigades in Indore’

BHOPAL: UAD minister Maya Singh, in reply to call attention motion, said there were sufficient fire fighters and water to douse fire in case any fire incident happened in Indore.

She said, “There are already four fire stations—police fire station (Laxmibai Nagar), police fire station (Moti Tabela), police fire station (Gandhi Hall) and a temporary fire station (GNT). We have already provided six fire fighting vans to Indore. The municipal corporation has been provided three water tankers of 45,000 litre capacity, three water tankers of 20,000 litre capacity.” BJP MLA Sudershan Gupta had demanded fire station for east Indore region which is highly commercial pocket of the city while west and central Indore have fire stations but east region did not have any fire station.
