Bhopal: Student robbed of purse carrying valuables worth Rs 30K

Bhopal: A 20-year old college student was robbed of her purse carrying mobile phone, cash and other documents worth Rs 30,000 by two bike-borne miscreants near Prakash Taran Pushkar on Wednesday evening. The two accused bikers were caught on the CCTV camera.

TT Nagar police said the victim Sohaila Khan, 20, also a Mehandi artist, was relieved of her purse near the when she driving down to her home at Tulsi Nagar on a scooter. Sohaila’s sister and mother were a few meters away from her on another scooter when the incident occurred.

Ten two sisters chased the JP Hospital but they managed to dodge them taking advantage of darkness. The student then lodged a complaint with the TT Nagar police. She told police that she after completing Mehndi work at a marriage ceremony was ehading home when the two bike-borne men snatched her purse she was carrying. She claimed that a Samsung J-7 mobile phone, Rs 3,800 cash and documents were in the purse.
