Bhopal: Isolated light rains are likely over various parts in Madhya Pradesh from Tuesday onwards, said meteorological department. A fresh Western Disturbance is expected to approach the Western Himalayas soon, which will at first bring along light rains over isolated parts starting on February 5 night.
Gradually, the rain intensity will increase and spread over many more parts of the state. At temperature front, temperature soared due to change in wind pattern. Currently, it is southerly wind pattern and it is just because of it there was sharp rise in day well as night temperature.
North regions of the state will experience rain on Tuesday, on the following day, eastern and northeast Madhya Pradesh may also receive a few spells of rain. On February 7 and 8, East Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are likely to receive scattered rains.
Meanwhile, day as well as night temperature soared all across the state on Monday. The state capital has recorded four to five degree Celsius rise in temperature in last couple of days. Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 30.2 degree Celsius which was 4.3 degree Celsius above normal while the minimum temperature settled at 13.9 degree Celsius, around 2.5 notches above normal. Indore recorded a maximum temperature of 29.2 degree Celsius, around 1.5 degree Celsius above normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 14.4 degree Celsius around was 3.6 degree Celsius above normal.
