BHOPAL: Blast in Bhopal-Ujjain passenger train has put a question mark on state’s intelligence agencies. The police, FSL and other experts are trying to identify the explosive which used in the blast. The sleuths are also trying to ascertain as to whether the explosive was being transported and blew up by mistake or it was a pre-planned terror attack.
Following MP Police’s information central intelligence agencies and the Uttar Pradesh police are conducting raids in various part of the neighbouring state. Sources did not rule out a link between train derailment in UP and Tuesday’s blast. National Intelligence Agency (NIA) has pointed finger of suspicion towards ISI in the UP derailment. More arrests are expected in coming days in UP and MP.
Over the last year or so, the state has become a hotbed of anti-national activities. On February 9, ISI espionage racket was busted in the state and ATS arrested 15 accused in the case. Recently a special court in Indore sentenced 11 SIMI activists to life imprisonment.
