Bhopal: Squads formed to check corruption at petrol pumps, PDS shops

Burhanpur: In order to check fuel theft at petrol pumps and curb food grain black marketing in the district, district collector Deepak Singh formed district-level squad to keep tight vigil on petrol pumps, gas cylinder godowns, kerosene wholesale shops and public distribution system shops.

Collector handed over responsibilities of the area under Kotwali police station to joint collector ML Arya, area under Nepanagar police station to sub-division officer (revenue) Anil Sapkale, area under Shikarpura police station to Sohan Kanash, area under Nimbola police station to Nepanagar tehsildar Mukesh Kasive, area under Ganpati Naka police station to Burhanpur tehsildar Premsingh Sisodiya, area under Khaknar police station to tehsildar Diwakar Sulya and area under Lalbagh police station to land record inspector Khuman Singh Chouhan to oversee the inspection work.
