BHOPAL: Sports minister Jitu Patwari visited shooting and equestrian academies on Wednesday. He inspected all three shooting ranges and the arrangements at the academy.
During the inspection, Patwari sought the information of the warm blood breed of the horses. Chief coach captain Bhageerath, who accompanied Patwari, said that performance of warm blooded horses is better than Tharo breed horses. So, four warm blooded horses have been brought by the academy for the practice of the players.
Patwari also inspected the equestrian indoor stadium. Director, Sports and Youth Welfare, SL Thaosen told that this is the only indoor stadium of the country.
The medallists of the shooting academy met the sports minister. They told him about their achievements. He inspected all three shooting ranges, 10 meter, 25 meter and 50 meter piston, shotgun and rifle shooting ranges. Joint Director Vinod Pradhan, BS Yadav and other officers were also present during the inspection.
