Bhopal: Special training for various sports under Pay and Play scheme

Aspiring shooters can take training at Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy located at Bishan Khedi. Similarly, players who want to learn horse riding can take training at Madhya Pradesh State Equestrian Academy.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Special training in various sports has been started by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department under Pay and Play scheme. The scheme that was launched at TT Nagar Stadium on July 1, 2022, is still underway. Interested players can get training in badminton, basketball, tennis, table tennis, athletics, and martial arts.

Aspiring shooters can take training at Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy located at Bishan Khedi. Similarly, players who want to learn horse riding can take training at Madhya Pradesh State Equestrian Academy.

Players interested in participating in sports disciplines can apply after obtaining a membership form from the office of city stadium. One can take admission for training by submitting a form along with a prescribed fee.

According to officials, approximately 700 students are receiving training under the Pay and Play scheme. Sports like football, basketball, badminton and athletics are popular. Most players are school-going children.
