Bhopal: SPAAKS takes out rally to protest against Dr Shivam Shukla’s death

Bhopal: The Samnya Pichda Alpshankyak Adhikari Karmchari Sansthain including the SPAAKS political party and its youth unit jointly took out the torch rally protesting the death of Dr Shivam Shukla, here on Friday. National convenor of the SPAAKS Heeralal Trivedi alleged due to black law the talented doctor and the head of the family had lost his life, “This is not a suicide but a murder, we want high level inquire into the matter.”

He added that the government shall provide the compensation of Rs 1 crore to the family and also job to one of the member of the family. The members demanded to register the case against the staff nurse and also against the police officer who had mounted pressure and had registered the case. They also demand withdraw the black law with immediate effect.

The organisations will write to the President of India, Prime Minister, chairman of human right commission, Chief Justice of India to withdraw the laws which are violating the human rights. Trivedi claimed that Dr Shivam Shukla who was posted in community health centre Churhat of Sidhi district had committed suicide at his residence on January 27.

The doctor had served the notice to one of the staff nurse of CHC for careless working. The nurse filed the complaint of harassment to the police, as the nurse is belongs to schedule caste, the police had also added the section of SC/ST Atrocity Act into the harassment case. Allegedly feeling insecure Shukla committed suicide, he added.
