Bhopal: Sindhi body files complaint against MLA over audio clip

The Central Sindhi Panchayat has filed a complaint against MLA Rameshwar Sharma, here on Thursday.  The president of panchayat BD Israni said that an audio has gone viral on social media in which MLA Rameshwar Sharma is allegedly heard laying a conspiracy against the Sindhi community and using abusive language against them, while talking to one Mohar Singh alias Sonu Tomar.

He said a complaint has been filed in the Bairagarh police station to file the FIR against Sharma. They had submitted an affidavit of Sonu Tomar along with a pen drive of audio and other supporting documents.  They have also submitted a complaint to IG Bhopal Jaideep Prasad in this regard. After that they have visited the office of chief electoral officer and submitted the complaint, Israni informed that the CEO has sought a report from home secretary in this matter.

The panchayat members also visited the BJP office and meet the officials and demanded that the MLA be expelled from the party for using the abusive language against the community. On the other had the MLA had already filed the complaint to the police station, claiming that the audio is fake.

The audio came in the circulation during the elections. According to Israni in the audio Sharma is allegedly urging on the Sindhi community for getting united in the elections.  Notably Sharma is contesting the election from Huzur constituency on the ticket of BJP and Naresh Gyanchandani is contesting the election on the ticket of Congress.
