BHOPAL: Minister for woman and child development (WCD), Archana Chitnis, in a review meeting at Mantralaya here on Thursday, directed to issue show-cause notices to 8 officials for showing laxity in implementation of ‘Special Weight Campaign’ in the state.
The notice has been served to one joint director, 6 district project officers and one child development project officer.
Chitnis also instructed officials to shift Aanganwadi centres with staff, where attendance of children is low, to the places where there is more need.
Principal secretary, WCD, JN Kansotia, commissioner, woman empowerment, Jayshri Kiyawat and other officers were present.
Notices have been served to joint director, Indore, district project officers of Jhabua, Agar, Datia, Sheopur, Narsinghpur and Singrauli. Child development project officer of Sheopur has also been served the notice.
