Bhopal: Former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan got annoyed when he saw a big stone at airstrip in Chorhatta, Rewa, before flying for Sidhi to join Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public rally on Friday. BJP leaders were also shocked over finding of the stone as any mishap might have happened. In fact, Chouhan’s plane landed at Chorhatta Airstrip. Chouhan flew in helicopter to Sidhi to attend Modi’s rally. The moment his plane landed, he saw stones and pointed to the BJP leaders about it. BJP leaders said that any mishap might have occurred.
However, Rewa SP Abid Khan said, “Government of India’s survey for mining is going on in the entire area. So planes frequently land and park there in night. Just to fix the planes, their fins are tied with stones and with ropes so that in case of storms or speedy wind, planes will not be damaged if fins are fixed. So stones are there for this purpose. It is a coincidence that former CM’s plane landed and reached near the stone.”
