Dhar: Noted poet of Dhar, Wahid Khan (Pathan) was felicitated in a literary programme held at Pritamlal Dua auditorium in Indore recently.
The programme was organised by city’s prestigious literary organisation Indore Sahitya Sangam on the occasion of the release of poetry collection book ‘Kavya Sagar’. In this poetry collection, a total of 123 well-acclaimed poets’ poems along with Khan’s poems have been published. Chief guest of the programme was noted poet Chandrasen Virat, while noted scholar Mithilaprasad Tripathi presided over the function and Prof Yogendranath Shukla was the special guest on this occasion. During the function, the guests honoured Wahid Khan with literary title of ‘Shair-e-Malwa’.
