Bhopal: SDM paddles to office

SHIVPURI: At the appeal of Karera SDM CB Prasad many officers and employees reached their offices riding bicycles on Tuesday. Besides Prasad, jailer Dileep Naik, RI Vinod Soni, BRC Afaq Hussain, in-charge BEO RK Bhargava, teachers Dhaniram Yadav, Ashok Vaidoria, Adbhijit Shrivastava, Rafiq Khan and many others met at the police chowki at 10.30 am from where they cycled to their offices via bus stand. The SDM said that this is just a beginning. If even 100 persons used bicycle on the first day, it means saving of 50 litres of petrol. He said that cycling not only protects the environment but also keeps us healthy and fit.
