Bhopal: The IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance cell) and the SQAC (Student Quality Assurance Cell) at Bhopal School of Social Sciences organised Students’ Day on Friday. It was a day of fun and frolic, which provided a platform to the students to showcase their talent and engage in light-hearted competitions through a variety of games and contests. Alok Sanjar, Member of Parliament was the chief guest of the function. Entry and participation was free for all students and the Principal Fr. Dr. John P.J. encouraged the students to make the most of this opportunity to express themselves creatively. The theme for the ramp walk and singing concert was ‘Retro’ and the winners of the Retro fashion show were Irhoaze Cynthia and Aditya Rathore. Competitions like Dance Battle got a hearty response from participants as well as audience. Food stalls, stand-up comedy act and games like Tug Of War, Queen of Sheeba, Ram Ravana, Kho Kho, Pittoo etc. drew an appreciative response. The programme ended with a scintillating Rock Band performance and DJ when the students let themselves go and grooved to the rhythmic beats. (All pix courtesy organisers)
