SBI Life Insurance, started its new regional office here on Monday. Arijit Basu, MD and CEO, SBI Life Insurance, in the presence of KT Ajit, CGM, SBI, Bhopal Circle and Anand Pejawar, executive director, marketing, SBI Life Insurance inaugurated the office at MP Nagar. Under its CSR initiative, SBI extended support by facilitating easy local conveyance for specially-abled children to the Ability Development Centre run by Arushi, a Bhopal-based voluntary organisation which works for people with disabilities. Around 150 children with visual, hearing and physical impairment are trained at the centre.
Speaking on the occasion Basu said, “SBI Life has witnessed a remarkable growth this year and we are expanding our reach in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. SBI Life has been performing very well, consolidating and strengthening its market share with a 50 per cent growth in our total new business in the last financial year.”
