BHOPAL: State Bank of India, under its CSR policy, donated medical equipment worth Rs 25 lakh to Shri Sadguru Sewa Sangh Trust, Anandpur, Lateri, in Vidisha district at a programme at the bank’s LHO.
Bank’s managing director (National Banking Group) Rajnish Kumar donated the equipment worth Rs 25 lakh to the representatives of the institution. The equipment will be used for ophthalmic surgery of patients belonging to economically weaker sections of society. Around 1.3 lakh patients were benefitted by the hospital run by the Trust over the past few years. Speaking at the function Rajnish Kumar said taking care of the needs of society was ingrained in the ethos of SBI. Also present on the occasion were KT Ajit, chief general manager, PH Pammi, SP Singh and Deepak Chopra, all general managers and other senior officials of the bank.
