Bhopal: Sarang conducts surprise visit to ISBT

Bhopal: Cooperatives minister Vishwas Sarang, on Friday, paid a surprise visit to interstate bus terminal (ISBT). He asked officials to ensure better arrangements for passengers.

On the question of liquor shop near the bus terminal, the minister said the shop would now be removed from the proposal of excise department for the year 2018-19. He also instructed ADM GP Mali to take necessary action at his level.

Expressing concern over cleanliness on the campus he said keeping the campus clean amid rush of passengers was a tough task but the municipal corporation should take it as challenge. He also expressed displeasure over the vehicles parked at undesignated spots.

Sarang further headed for the police outpost-cum-police assistance centre where he asked officials to put up sign boards indicating direction towards the outpost for convenience of passengers.

He also took stock of the arrangements of online ticket booking system before his visit to the Bhopal City Link Limited and prepaid auto stand.
