Bhopal: Ex-Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has entered into the mode of direct confrontation with the government. Chouhan has begun to communicate with the benficiaries of Sambal Yojana in Bhim Nagar slums, under sambal samvad. He said that he had waived off electricity bills when he was a CM and had capped the electricity bills to Rs 200 per month. He said people should not pay if they get electricity bills of excess amount.
He said he would get water and power connections of poor will be restored through sangharsh samiti which would be constituted in each locality. The samitis would also fight against the deficiencies in benefits of schemes made for the poor. He said poor are getting water connection bills for Rs 5000 which is beyond their paying capacity.
He said he would go to the slums and interact with the poor so that he gets information about the problems faced by people because of current government. He said it was the duty of the current government to continue with the schemes made by BJP government for the welfare of the poor.
