Burhanpur: Over 3,700 beneficiaries from Burhanpur district have been benefited with different government schemes during district-level antyodaya fair organised here on Sunday.
The programme was organized at Renuka Mata Mandir and Member of Parliament Nandkumar Singh Chouhan with state minister of woman and child development Archana Chitnis, cooperative minister Vishwas Sarang, district collector Deepak Singh and others attended the programme. Guests presented sanctioned letters to the tune of Rs 40 crores to the beneficiaries on the occasion.
Addressing the programme, Sarang said through such fairs government wanted to take beneficiary schemes to every nook and corner of the state, so that every person could get benefits and once this happens it will change the face of the state completely. Addressing the programme, Chitnis said earlier people had to approach government to get benefits, but time is changing and now government was coming at their doorstep.
Chitnis announced that Dindayal Rasoi Yojana is going start from April 1 and poor and needy person will get full meal for just Rs 5. Chouhan and Singh also addressed the function. Chouhan informed villagers about loan scheme for farmers as well as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Madarsa board chairman Sayyed Imadudin, district panchayat president Gayatri Rajaram Patidar, mayor Anil Bhonsale, municipal corporation president Manoj Tarwala, janpad president Kishore Patil and others were present during the programme.
