BHOPAL: Former minister and MLA, Dr Govind Singh has written to governor Om Prakash Kohli demanding immediate termination of tribal welfare minister Gyan Singh and also to cancel all his decisions taken after his resignation from the state assembly.

Singh in a letter said Gyan Singh has been elected as MP from Shahdol Lok Sabha constituency. Singh had resigned from the membership of state assembly on December 5 from Bandhavgarh seat. The former minister claimed that Gyan Singh could not continue as minister as he had resigned from membership of state assembly and he was not administered oath second time as per article 164 (3). He claimed Gyan Singh did not intend to contest assembly elections and he is working as minister, which is unconstitutional. Singh alleged that Gyan Singh, who is a member of Lok Sabha, is working violating article 164(3) and taking decision.

Singh demanded governor to immediately terminate Gyan Singh and also to cancel all decisions taken by him.
