BHOPAL: Though the number of corona cases may be going down in Madhya Pradesh, nobody is taking chances for its resurgence. In a latest, people coming from Maharashtra will not get entry in the neighbouring district Seoni, without RTPCR report.
Seoni shares its boundaries with Nagpur in Maharashtra. Collector Seoni, Rahul Haridas Fating, issued instructions on Wednesday that people coming from neighbouring Nagpur will be allowed entry in the district only with a RTPCR report. In his instructions, he said that the RTPCR report should be of within 48 hours and needs to be produced at the border check post. If a group of people are coming then the RTPCR report of each individual is mandatory. The person without the corona report will not be allowed entry in the district.
ëAnybody found flouting the rules will be booked under provisions of violation of pandemic Act,í said collector Seoni.
Seoni district registered 9 new corona positive cases on Wednesday. As many as 6708 people have been recorded corona positive in the district till date. Overall 28 people have died of corona so far.
There are 181 corona positive active cases in the district.
