HOSHANGABAD: A meeting of the district-level Bankers’ Advisory Committee was held at the auditorium of the collectorate on Thurday. The meeting approved a Rs 5203 crore annual credit plan presented by NABARD. The meeting was chaired by Collector Avinash Lavania. The Collector said that the bankers should ensure cent per cent sanction and disbursal of all pending self-employment loan cases by March 31. The Collector said that most of the banks had performed well vis-à-vis self-employment schemes. Only some branches were problematic. The collector said that camps should be organised for recovery of loans. Representative of Reserve Bank Piyush Kumar, NABARD rep Naresh Tijare and chief manager of Central Bank of India Ranvir Singh were present.
