BHOPAL: Sponsored by UGC, a two-day national workshop on ‘Innovation in Management Education’ concluded at the Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) on Friday.
The first session was addressed by Prof. Amarjeet S. Khalsa of IPER College. He imparted his information is about the past, present and future of management. He emphasised on usable, deliverable and updatable research. He spoke about the need to bridge the gap between the past, the present and the future, further. The participants shared their anxieties over post-digitalisation economy. He also informed that the research should be based on something that you can discuss in the class.
Dr Smitha Pillai, organising secretary of the workshop said that the participants got really inspired and she felt somewhat they were able to fulfill the primary objective of the workshop, that to promote excellence in teaching, by providing participants effective and creative educational experiences in the college, university and classrooms.
Prof. Shakur Khan interacted with the participants on case study method and also, Prof. K.V. Bhanu Murti of Delhi University has given a presentation on MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses).
