Western Central Railways (WCR) general manager Ajay Vijayvergiya, during the inspections of ongoing development and renovation work, instructed Railway officials to speed up the ongoing development work. He visited Bhopal Railway station on Friday.
DRM Shobhan Chaudhary said, “WCR GM Ajay Vijayvergiya held series of meeting with us regarding ongoing renovation work(booking building) of Bhopal Railway station and related other work. We displayed the outline and design of renovation work.”
Train 18
“Indian Railways will introduce its first made-in-India engine-less train-named Train 18. Also known as T18, this train is set to hit the tracks for trials on October 29. Trial for T-18 Delhi-Bhopal will be started from October 30 and by January –February 2019, it will start plying,” DRM said, adding, “The self-propelled train, fitted with CCTV cameras, would have two executive compartments in the middle with 52 seats each whereas trailer coaches would have 78 seats each”.
