Garbage scattered around Masjid on VIP road
BHOPAL: Responsibility lies on both devotees as well as civic body to keep premises of religious places neat and clean. Their sanctity should be maintained at any cost as at the cracking of the dawn, devotees make a beeline to these places.
But unfortunately, even religious places are victims of the apathy of the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) administration.
There is a BMC garbage container outside a masjid on VIP road but it is always overflowing with garbage.
Many time, even devotees have raised the issue with corporator for timely and regularly removal of dumped garbage. But BMC has not so far set any fixed scheduled to collect the dumped garbage in time.
I daily pass through VIP Road and always find scattered garbage on the Masjid premises. BMC administration is supposed to be stricter about religious places as far as sanitation is concerned. it does not look nice if dumped garbage remain scattered as it spoil entire ambience.”- Dhananjay Sen, 30, businessmen

It is responsibility of civic body to ensure timely removal of dumped garbage.
