BHOPAL: Hitting out at Congress for asking number of terrorists killed during Balakot air strikes, Union home minister Rajnath Singh said, vultures and not braves count the corpses.  “Congress asked how many terrorists were killed in air strikes at terror camps in Pakistan’s Balakot. But I want to tell them that it is not the job of the brave but of vultures to count bodies. We had solid intelligence inputs and only then we executed the air strikes,” said the home minister in rally on Sunday. Singh addressed series of public rallies at Shahdol, Sidhi, Satna, Anuppur and Singrauli on the day.

Flaying Congress for mentioning to scrap sedition law in this poll manifesto, the home minister said, Congress always talks about division in the country. But BJP will not sit silent and if need be it will would come up with more stringent law for the interest and safety of country.  Picture is very much crystal clear that Narendra Modi would become PM again and this Grand alliance too has now realized, said the minister.

“With the completion of first phase of elections, opposition has started blaming EVM machines. Victory and defeat is two side of a coin. Opposition should accept it. But the opposition now is insulting mandate by blaming EVM machines,” the BJP leader said. Taking a jibe at Congress, Suingh said that the party has a habit of speaking lie, for years all Congress’ prime ministers raised the slogan of poverty alleviation but none could succeed and now the party has promised Rs 72,000 in account of poor.

“Politics cannot last long on the basis of lie, whatever Congress promises remain always unfulfilled,” he added. Citing Madhya Pradesh example, the home minister said that Congress farm loan waiver promise has not been waived off and on the contrary other welfare schemes have been shelved. Meanwhile, former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said, “Congress is party of Raja, Maharaja and industrialists. Party workers do not know who their leader is. It is party of coalition which cheats public. Grand alliance is now active to deceive the people, said Singh addressing rally in support of Rakesh Singh in Jabalpur.
