BHOPAL: The triple murder accused Udayan Das was brought to Bhopal by the Raipur police on Monday. The Raipur police inspected his residence situated at Saket Nagar. The Raipur police have taken Udayan Das on production remand from a West Bengal court.
He is alleged to have killed his parents and buried them in their house situated in Raipur. Udayan Das was arrested by the WB police on the charge of murdering his female friend Akanksha. The Raipur police have found passbooks and ATM cards in the house, which have been seized.
Interestingly, before entering the house, he frisked all the police personnel to make sure that they do not plant any evidence to implicate him in the house.
Udayan Das had transferred the bank accounts of his father and mother from Raipur to Bhopal. He had also prepared the death certificate of his mother from Itarsi with the help of a nurse posted in government hospital.
The Raipur police may visit the concerned banks and will take the details of the accounts, the police also going to visit Itrasi to investigate the death certificate and will take statements to its connected people. During his visit to Bhopal, he was kept in the Govindpura police station, where he raised several objections regarding the toilet, food and water.
He wanted western washroom for the use and mineral water for drinking. He demanded good food from a good restaurant. Udayan Das was seen tension free in police custody, he freely moving without any guilty conscious.
