Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has launched attack at Delhi against the state government over farm loan waiver. Chouhan, speaking at a press conference at Delhi on Monday, said that Rahul Gandhi’s Nyaya Yojana is stunt like farm loan waiver. He claimed that the government of Madhya Pradesh was trying to escape from farm loan waiver taking support of code of conduct.

Chouhan said it was clearly mentioned in the model code of conduct that any scheme, which was running before and where the beneficiaries are already identified, may be continued during code of conduct imposition. He asked when Kisan Samman Nidhi could be sent to bank accounts then why not farm loan waiver could be done.

Chouhan alleged that poor and poverty had become toy for the Gandhi family. He claimed that there was no change in poverty rate in 60 years of Congress rule. Chouhan said Rahul had claimed of farm loan waiver in ten days and had he remained firm of his promises, the state would have 10 Chief Ministers so far.

Day to speak lie was selected intentionally: Kamal Nath
Chief Minister Kamal Nath, counter attacking the allegations of former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the day to speak lie on farm loan waiver was selected intentionally. Nath claimed that BJP was trying to mislead farmers on the issue of farm loan waiver from the beginning. Nath said not a single penny of farmers was waived during the BJP government. The state was leading in suicides of farmers during BJP government.

Farmers was shot in Mandsaur but the BJP was leveling allegations on Congress government.  Nath said 23.48 lakh farm loans were waived before code of conduct. He had signed on order for farm loan one hour before taking oath. He said the farm loan of the remaining farmers would be waived after code of conduct.

Nath said several farmers due to having more than one account got the message that their loan would be waived after code of conduct. Let BJP speak lies but the farmer knows that the promise of Congress was true, said the CM. Nath said BJP instead of speaking lie should express gratitude towards our government.
