Bhopal: Project on IoT based granary monitoring wins first prize

Bhopal: A two-day Design Contest on Grass Root Technology & Local Innovation concluded with prize distribution at Regional Science Centre (RSC), Bhopal on Saturday. Tanay Paltanwale from MANIT, Bhopal bagged first prize for their project on IoT Based Energy Efficient Granary Monitoring system.

Ayushi Dubey and Neelam Kumar from RKDF University, Bhopal got the second prize for project Audible while Sushil Kovid from Sagar Institute of Research & Technology, Bhopal won third prize for his project Smart Mirror with AVS. Dr. Navin Chandra, director general, MP Council of Science & Technology, Bhopal was the chief guest and Dr. Moinak Banerjee, Scientist, of Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Kerala was prominently present in the occasion.

Dr Moinak Banerjee also took an interactive session on theme Genomics & Its Application in Information Age. Over 39 innovative ideas engineered to working model were presented in the expo.
