Bhopal: Professors selected through MPPSC (Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission) will meet governor and higher education minister and ask them to issue their appointment letters. More than 2500 professors were selected after conducting entry exam through PSC in 2018. Process for their appointment started and later verification of their documents too was done by the higher education department. However, the appointment process stopped thereafter.

Later due to elections and implementation of poll code of conduct the appointment process was stopped. Several candidates selected in the exam left their jobs to obtain no objection certificate to join the government job. President of association, Prakash Khatarkar said selected candidates from across the state will gather in Bhopal on May 26 and hand over a memorandum, demanding appointment letters, to governor and the higher education minister. “Most of the selected candidates are facing financial crisis as they have left job but haven’t been appointed yet,” he added.
