CHHATARPUR: Principal secretary of co-operatives department Ajit Kesri, at a meeting organised at the collectorate here on Thursday, reviewed the progress of the Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday campaign. On this occasion, collector Ramesh Bhandari, additional collector DK Maurya, SDMs DP Dwivedi, Ravindra Choukse, Divya Awasthi and district-level officers of other departments were present.
The meeting began with Kesri being introduced to the officers. He sought information from them in detail about the innovations made by them for the success of the campaign and the activities planned ober the next couple of days. He also sought information about the Krishi Mahotsava being organised as part of the campaign. Deputy director, agriculture Manoj Kashyap told him about Krishi Kranti Rath, Krishi Sansad and the facilities being given to the farmers.
CMHO Dr AK Tiwari talked about the women’s health camps. Deputy director veterinary Dr Ravindra Singh Baghel, district programme officer Bharat Singh Rajput also gave information about the schemes of their departments. Collector Ramesh Bhandari made a presentation on the campaign which began from April 14, including the number of beneficiaries and the activities planned over the next days.
