BHOPAL: Bharatiya Janata Party seems to have decided to forgive MP Pragya Thakur on her statement terming Nathuram Godse as ‘patriot’. Party’s national general secretary Anil Jain, during his Bhopal visit on Thursday, said Pragya had apologized as well as repented for her mistake.
He said Pragya kept a ’21-hour-long’ fast and she also apologized publicly. However, he said that her matter was under consideration of discipline committee and decision would be taken soon.
Jain said people have developed resentment against Kamal Nath government in merely 6 months. Congress government would not last long but the BJP would not make any effort to topple the government, said Jain, adding that the government would fall because of its own mistakes.
Jain claimed that transfer industry is thriving in Madhya Pradesh and the state government is not fulfilling promises and busy in loot. The seething anger in public towards the state government was well expressed as BJP won 28 out of 29 seats, he added. Jain claimed that Kamal Nath is unable to tackle the basic problems related to electricity and water supply in the state.
