Bhopal: People in the city welcomed the award of life imprisonment to Asaram Bapu by the Jodhpur court on Wednesday. In their views he is a good orator and not a spiritual leader. Some believe that he deserves nothing less that capital punishment. Many called for an scrutiny of his financial empire by the government.

It is very good decision. I welcome it. The decision will help to set an example in society. So many fake babas have been exposed, still some people believe in them out of their ignorance and superstition. It is their insecurity that draws them to such babas. They are just good orators and not spiritual leaders. People need to be sensitised about such issues. What more to say, if the government gives the status of minister to such Babas. I think government should also take an account of his money.

The decision came a little late but I am happy about it.Such people deserve to be punished. They are not real saint but self styled god man. They lead luxurious lives, and have huge properties. Their followers have blind faith on them so they remain followers even when the reality of such fake babas is exposed.

It is very good decision. He deserves this. In fact it is in favour of Asaram because he has become old and now he needs rest. So now he will spent rest of his life in jail. I think 70 % people easily get influenced by such frauds because they are fool and uneducated.
