Bhopal: The police will take help of Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-in) to know the details about the death of the student in Damoh district on Sunday. IG intelligence Makrand Deouskar said it was reported that many students were playing the Blue Whale game. In MP two incidents had been reported in which one student was saved before committing suicide, but in another case Damoh’s Swastik allegedly committed suicide on Sunday.
He added in the primary investigation, SP of Damoh Vivek Aggarwal had found that the student was not good in studies and once he had left home also. The family members were not aware about the game or other activity done by Swastik. The IG added earlier on August 11 one student of Indore tried to commit suicide, but he was saved by the teachers and students before the mis-happening.
The police are going to hand over the mobile, laptop and computer used by these two students to find out the reality to CERT-in. DGP Rishi Shukla has appealed to parents and citizens to be careful regarding their children’s behaviour. “If the child is in some fear, shows abnormal behaviour, has some injuries mark(s) on his body, gives most of his time to online chatting, these may be symptoms of something wrong and must be taken seriously by parents and the other people. Children should be given immediate counselling in the matter,” he added.
