Bhopal: More than 20 days have passed since the paper of Food Corporation of India watchman examination was leaked but special task force (STF) is still clueless about the kingpin of the scam.
In what could be very embarrassing for the entire governance system, police found the Facebook account of the scam mastermind Deshraj Kishor replete with his photographs with top politicians of the country by his side. Kishor was part of the management of a college of education in Vijaypur in Sheopur district in Gwalior-Chambal region of the state.
The revelation however cautioned the STF to take steps with care in the case as going by his Facebook account, the accused had close links with political higher ups including Union ministers.
AIG of STF, Sunil Shivhare informed that the teams of STF had been raiding various locations in Delhi and NCR including Inderpuri, Rajendra Nagar, his office and possible hideouts in Ghaziabad and Noida, but so far in vain.
Following the expose of FCI watchman examination paper leak racket in Gwalior on March 31, the STF had arrested 50 men, just a day before the scheduled exam date. The exam was conducted in seven cities of MP on April 1, 2018. Kishor has two multi-storey houses in Delhi and is a part of the management of a private college of education Sheopur district, but another college in adjoining Datia district.
“His arrest holds the key to making further penetration into the racket. It will guide the cops to crack the two upper layers of the racket which could either be in Delhi or in Bihar. The arrest is important as FCI has to hold the Watchman Recruitment Exam in more states, including Punjab and Himachal Pradesh and the remnants of the racket might well try to leak the paper there as well,” he added.
