NASRULLAGANG: An all-India Kavi Sammelan was organised in the town on May 1 to mark the birthday of Adi Shankaracharya and Labour Day.  The kavi sammelan was organised by the municipality in collaboration with Shabdshree.  Mukesh Molwa read out a poem on Peshwa Bajirao to hail the Indian soldiers. Jalal Maikash from Bhopal presented his work on communal harmony. Anita Mauryra, Devendra Pratap Aag, Vijay Giri, Shredesh Chaube and Kusum Sharma presented their poems based on the miseries of the labourers. The city’s first citizen Anita Rajeesh Lakhera welcomed the guest poets. Municipality vice chairperson Rajesh Pawar was also present.
