BHOPAL: A youth was stabbed to death in a low-floor bus near Lal Bahadur Shastri (LBS) Hospital under Koh-e-Fiza police station area on Tuesday. The accused managed to flee from bus after the murder. Police are investigating on the basis of CCTV footage.
As per police sources, Kamal, resident of Tumda, had come to Bhopal with his brother-in-law. He boarded a low-floor bus at LBS Hospital.
He confronted pickpockets in the bus and one of them attacked him with a knife. He was rushed to the hospital where attending doctors declared him brought dead. ASP Arvind Singh Bhadauria said, “Police are investigating into the matter on the basis of CCTV footage.”
