BHOPAL: A demonstration was held by city residents at Kotra Sultanabad under the aegis of Bhopal Nagrik Vikas Samiti on Friday against anti-social elements. The residents were carrying wooden sticks to set the hooligans right.
Samiti’s president Ramesh Rathore said the city is witnessing a rise in hooliganism and it has become difficult for civilized people, children and women to come out of their houses. Rathore said the initiative has been taken to set law and order in the city right. He said we are linking people on Whattsapp so that people could gather at a place once a month and take out demonstration. Rathore said it would also make public representatives understand and come forward to improve the things.
