BHOPAL: Tribute ceremonies for the martyrs of Pulwama terrorist attack continued to be organised in the state capital on Sunday. People from all walks of life came forward in huge numbers to pay tributes to martyrs on Sunday. Bhopal Mela Utsav Samiti cut short the mela on last day of 45-day long Mela an organised a programme to pay tributes to the slain soildiers. Mela Samiti executive body members paid the tribute on last day of 45-Day long mela at TT Nagar Dussehra Maidan. People with candles expressed their emotions to martyrs. Stalls owners of the mela joined them and paid tribute.A two minutes silence was observed on this occasion.
BJP organised prabhutva verga samelan at Manas Bhavan and paid tribute to the martyrs by lighting candles. BJP national vice president Prabhat Jha, state BJP vice president Vijesh Lunawat, MP Alok Sanjar, mayor Alok Verma, and others were present on the ocassion.
Jain Samaj launched a signature campaign against Pulwama terrorist attack at Hindi Bhavan. People from all walks of life put their signature as a mark of their protest against the attack. Even children took this opportunity to express their emotions through slogans. Jain Samaj executive body condemned the attack and said that Indian government should give befitting reply to attack. Terrorist should be dealt with iron handed, participants added. Similarly, residents and traders in various colonies paid tributes to the martyrs on Sunday.
