Bhopal: Sports and youth welfare minister Jitu Patwari inspected MP State Women Hockey Academy, international-level Badminton Indoor Hall and Boxing Ring of the sports complex situated in Gwalior.
Patwari reached Gwalior on Thursday morning to inspect the management and facilities provided to the players. The minister examined Women Hockey Academy operated by the sports department. He had a detailed discussion with the players of the hockey academy and the feeder centers.
He enquired from them about hostel facilities, food quality they get and the sports facilities. He also had a word with the office bearers and gave them necessary instructions. Patwari took breakfast with players from the academy.
MLA Kala Peepal, Kunal Chaudhary, joint director, sports, BS Yadav, deputy director, MK Dhaulpuri, DSO, RR Nagle and other officials were present on the occasion.
