BHOPAL: Businessmen having their establishments in Mata Mandir market said that heavy penalty should be imposed on eateries if they do not put their own dustbins. Such decision must be taken to the businessman fall in line. Otherwise, customers would dump the used disposable plates, cups and it would cause unhygienic atmosphere.

Generally it has been seen in market just in front of Mata Mandir, eateries have not placed any dustbins so that customers dump the used disposable plates and cups before the shops. However, even provisional stores owners have placed proper dust bin.

So they also want that eateries, tea stalls should follow the same trend. But eateries owners and stall owners do not follow the healthy trend.

This is a reason, the businessmen want BMC administration to intervene into the matter by imposing heavy penalty on eateries and staff owners if they are found at wrong foot.

“It should not be a politically biased move. Unfortunately any drive which BMC launches, suffer due to being politicised. Such a noble decision which BMC has taken to wash market and roads in night, should be unbiased.”

Chhote Singh

“Each and every businessman should place a dustbin in front of shop so that customers would use them. Unfortunately, it is not happening at Mata Mandir market. BMC administration is supposed to impose penalty against such errant traders.”

Deepak Aneja

“We support the BMC administration and Mayor Alok Sharma for launching such campaign Mera Pran: Bhopal No-1. Even BMC is also generating awareness in public through street play, signature campaign about sanitation. It is good job which BMC is doing.”

Mahesh Gupta

“BMC has taken the decision to wash the market in night. It is a good decision. We will support it. Other people should also try to maintain proper hygiene and sanitation.”

Dil Bahadoor

“It is good decision taken by BMC administration that it has started washing roads and market on a particular day. It will help the local traders to maintain proper sanitation. Local traders and visitors should cooperate.”
