Bhopal: A “Campus Bird Count Programme” was organized by Regional Museum of Natural History (RMNH), Bhopal and Bhopal Birds on Tuesday The officials of RMNH, bird experts and nature lovers participated in this programme. More than 35 species of birds were spotted during this bird count.
Jungle Babbler, Rock Pigeon, Black Kite, Little cormorant, White Eye, Rose Ringed Parakeet, Black Drongo, Purple Sunbird, Red Vented Bulbul, Green Bee Eater, Indian Robin, Plane prinia, Tree Pie, Asian Brown Flycatcher, Red Throated Flycatcher, Booted babbler, Gray canary Flycatcher.
During the bird count about 60 white eye and 35 purple sunbirds were spotted and were prominent among these birds. Scientist in-charge, Manoj Kumar Sharma, Beenish Rafat, Scientist-B, Manik Lal Gupta, Scientist-B, officials of RMNH, Bhopal and Sangeeta Rajgir from Bhopal Birds were present during this Campus Bird Count Programme.
