BHOPAL: Seizure of meat from two bike borne men sparked sensation in Eitkhedi. Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted the bike borne men and seized 25 kg meat.
Police also arrested one of them as another managed to flee from the spot. Police have the samples for FSL testing. The meat is suspected to be prohibited animals.
The arrested has revealed his identity as Sagir, 34, of Itwara. The accused were carrying the meat in big carry bags. SI Mukesh Karasia said, “We were information that two men are carrying some suspicious item on a bike.
We intercepted them and found that they were carrying 25 kg meat in carry bags and were on way to Bhopal.”
