Bhopal: A congress leader has filed a complaint with Habibganj police alleging that he was attacked with oil on Thursday.
In the complaint he stated that he was returning after seeing a doctor when unidentified men threw oil on his face. As soon as he got down, the accused fled the area on their bike, leaving him shocked.
According to Additional superintendent of police (ASP) Zone 1 Sanjay Sahu the accused are yet to be identified but we have provided security to the congress leader as he was complaining about threat to his life in the complained and have started probing the case. Beg on the other hand said that the act was a threat and that the matter should be investigated as there could have been acid in the bottle. He is a congress leader in the state and when contacted said that the accused were also carrying a knife and I want state government to take action else I will perform dharna at the chief minister’s bungalow.
