Bhopal: The office of Deepmala infrastructure was gutted on Friday. The guard of the firm saw smoke billowing out of it and informed authorities and then fire brigade at around 06:30 am.
The firm owns Gammon Mall that lies in nearby New Market area. According to the TT Nagar police, the complainant Prashant Sharma told that four air conditioners, computers and other documents were gutted. He said the fire was caused by someone with an intention to cause them loss.
TT Nagar sub inspector Ravindra Singh said the valuables worth Rs 15 lakh have been claimed by the fire which occurred inside the office locked from outside. It took four fire tenders from Mata Mandir, Fatehgarh and Pul Bogda over an hour to douse the fire.
