Bhopal: After controversy, protest by students, revaluation of answer copies and subsequent change in results in, the main campus Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Mass Communication in Bhopal of, now their counterparts in Noida campus of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication (MCU) have started a protest demanding revaluation of their answer copies.
The students of Noida campus wrote to VC and submitted a memo to the director of Noida campus complaining that nine students BA (Mass Communication) fifth semester have failed in one subject while most of them are unconvinced with the marks allotted to them. They have demanded that their answer copies be revaluated on the same pattern adopted for the students of Bhopal MCU.
In Bhopal MCU 78 students had scored poorly even though most of them had excelled in same papers earlier. After a brief protest by students, university administration had ordered revaluation of those papers free of cost. In revaluation results score of the students had changed drastically and the agency responsible for preparing results was found at fault. The agency was later blacklisted and penalised.
