Khetia: In order to encourage students in mathematics, principal of Vedant Gurukul Middle School and teacher Chottulal Soni has come up with new innovative teaching techniques.
Under his campaign to generate interest in mathematics, otherwise treated as a boring and difficult subject, Soni organised a mathematics model competition which witnessed students making circles, quadrilaterals and cylindrical figures, using thermocol and coloured sheets with unusual enthusiasm.
The best model adjudged in the competition was also awarded. Notably, Soni prepared several projects to motivate class eight students in mathematics and it is no surprise that his efforts are reaping results.
