HOSHANGABAD: Narmadapuram Division Additional Commissioner RK Mishra addressed the youth voters and officials in seventh district level National Voter’s day programme. He said that, when cabinet took a decision to caste the vote in age of 18 instead of 21, then it was the message for the youths that they are having an important place in democracy; youth of the country must caste the vote in election and make the democracy strong and prosperous.
The programme was organised at Govt SNG School hall in which collector Avinash Lavania, district panchayat CEO PC Sharma, additional collector Manoj Sariyam, SDM Manoj Upadhyay, youth voters, teachers and school children were present.
Additional commissioner said that election commission was formed at 1950 and in present an officer of MP Cadre, Rawat is serving in election commission. He also said that the election system of India is better in the world.Chief election office-bearer Celina Singh felicitated aganwadi worker Neha Solanki with state level prize for his excellent work, in seventh National Voter’s day programme held at Bhopal on Wednesday. It is worth mentioning that Neha Solanki played an important role to add 127 new names in voter list of village Bhangia, tehsil Seoni-Malwa of district Hoshangabad.
